Pawventure Academy
1:1 Training alongside our balanced pack in real world environments
-

What if you could actually trust your dog to come back when you call?
Imagine taking your dog to the beach, through the bushland, or into a wide-open space and being able to give them the freedom to explore — knowing they will listen, check in with you, and come back when called.
For many owners, reliable recall feels impossible.
Maybe your dog gets distracted by everything around them, becomes completely absorbed in their surroundings, or simply chooses everything else over you. And often, it’s not that you don’t want to train them — you just don’t have the time, confidence, or know-how to make it happen.
That’s where our Pawventure Academy comes in.
Your dog gets the opportunity to learn and practise important life skills in real environments — not just in controlled training spaces or on a quiet footpath.
Through structured adventure walks across Perth’s incredible bushlands, beaches and lake trails, we work on recall, Leave It, focus, confidence and appropriate social experiences.
Best of all, your dog learns alongside a stable group of well-mannered, balanced role-model dogs, giving them the opportunity to experience calm and appropriate behaviour in a real-world setting.
It’s not just about tiring your dog out.
It’s about helping them learn how to navigate the real world, make good choices, regulate their excitement and build genuine confidence — so the skills we teach can hold up when life gets distracting.
And because you don’t need to be present, you can give your dog this valuable experience even when your schedule is packed.
You get the training and peace of mind you’ve been wanting.
They get the adventure, learning and real-world freedom they need.

The Outcome
The goal isn’t to create a perfect dog.
It’s to help create a dog who is more confident, responsive and capable in the real world.
By the end of the program, we want your dog to have:
A stronger and more reliable recall
Better response to Leave It
Improved focus and engagement
The ability to disengage from distractions
Better regulation around other dogs
More positive social experiences
Increased confidence in new environments
Better decision-making in stimulating situations
A stronger understanding of how to respond to direction
Most importantly, we want you to feel like you have more freedom and peace of mind knowing your dog has been given the skills to navigate the world around them.
Because the goal isn’t just a dog who behaves during an adventure walk.
It’s a dog developing skills that can become part of everyday life.

Is This Program Right for My Dog?
This program is designed for puppies, young dogs and adult dogs who would benefit from real-world training, structured social experiences and building confidence outside the home.
It may be a great fit if your dog:
Needs a more reliable recall
Gets easily distracted when out and about
Needs help learning Leave It
Is still developing their social skills
Gets excited around other dogs
Would benefit from calm, structured exposure to new environments
Needs more confidence in the real world
Would benefit from additional training but you don’t have the time or know-how to do it yourself
Enjoys exploring and going on adventures
Is comfortable travelling in a vehicle or can safely travel with appropriate support
When This Program May Not Be Suitable
Because your dog will be joining me on adventure walks, travelling in my vehicle and spending time around other dogs, safety and suitability always come first.
We may not be able to accept dogs who:
Have a history of serious or unpredictable aggression towards people or dogs
Have a significant bite history
Cannot safely be around other dogs
Display dangerous handling behaviours, such as attempting to bite when being handled or fitted with equipment
Have severe reactivity that prevents them from safely participating around other dogs
Have significant escape or flight behaviours that create a safety risk
Are unable to safely travel in a vehicle
Have medical or behavioural needs that require a more specialised level of care
This doesn’t mean your dog can’t be helped.
It simply means this particular program may not provide the level of individual support they need.
Every Dog Is Assessed Before Joining
Before your dog joins the program, we’ll have the opportunity to learn more about them and assess whether they are suitable for the adventure environment, vehicle travel and social group.
We want to make sure your dog is safe, comfortable and set up to succeed.
If you’re unsure whether your dog is the right fit, that’s completely okay.
